How Rank Requirements Can Be Completed At Home
The following requirements have "at home" ways to be completed. Take video of you completing these requirements. Post to your webpage, or show to your leader for approval.
Tenderfoot Rank
1b. – Spend at least on night on a patrol or troop campout. Sleep in a tent that you helped pitch.

Participating in Virtual Campouts can count for this! Take photos or video of setting up your tent and post to your webpage!!
2a. – On the campout, assist in preparing one of the meals. Tell why it is important for each patrol member to share in meal preparation and cleanup.
At Home Completion...
During the virtual patrol, troop campout, or council camp-ins, your family is your patrol. Assist in preparing one meal. While preparing this meal take video of you doing the preparation and explaining their thoughts on why it is important for each patrol member to share in meal preparation. Post to your webpage. Follow directions in the Scout Handbook pages, 304-324
2b. – While on a campout, demonstrate the appropriate method of safety cleaning items used to prepare, serve and eat a meal.

During the virtual patrol, troop campout, or council camp-ins, your family is your patrol. Assist in cleaning up one meal. While cleaning up this meal take video of you doing the cleaning up and explaining their thoughts on why it is important for each patrol member to share in the cleanup. Post to your webpage. Follow directions in the Scout Handbook pages, 307-308
5a. – Explain the importance of the buddy system as it relates to your personal safety on outings and in your neighborhood. Use the Buddy System while on a Troop or Patrol outing.
**Everyone in the troop might have had an opportunity to complete this, either on a campout or overnight to COSI. If they did use the Buddy System, then they can record a video explaining when they used it and post to their webpage, or write a bit about their experience and post that to their webpage,
At Home Completion...(if not already done)
Make a short video verbally explaining in your own words why the Buddy System is important and that you are committing to practicing the Buddy System at future outings. Scout Handbook page 29

1a. - Since joining Scouts BSA, participate in five separate troop/patrol activities, at least three of which must be held outdoors. Of the outdoor activities, at least two must include overnight camping. These activities do not include troop or patrol meetings. On campouts, spend the night in a tent that you pitch or other structure that you help erect, such as a lean-to, snow cave, or tepee.
